the valley springs area business association (VSABA) was formed in 1983 by a group of citizens and merchants from the Burson, Wallace, Valley Springs and Rancho Calaveras areas. They joined together for the mutual benefit of their communities, and 1984, the Valley Springs Area Business Association (VSABA) was founded as a non-profit corporation.
Today, the VSABA boasts a large active membership made up of people from the business, working and retirement communities united in promoting a better environment and image for our area.
While non-political, emphasis is placed on providing an arena for many points of view regarding local issues, through guest speakers at our monthly luncheons and other activities held throughout our area. The location of our luncheons are announced monthly and are open to the public.
Various fund raisers make possible the “Virginia Saunders Scholarship Award,” the annual Christmas Parade and Craft Faire, the Merchant or VIP of the month program, Citizen (s) of the Year Award, and donations in the VSABA name to various charities and groups.
We invite you to join the Area Business Association and contribute to your community.
